I was born and raised in a small town outside Charlotte and after marrying my husband Nicolas, we moved farther out of the city towards the foothills of the mountains. I've traveled all around the world documenting love stories for couples and families. 

My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the beaches of Costa Rica to the cityscape of New York City. But regardless of where I travel, the Carolinas will always be my home no matter if I’m at the foothills or the coastline.

As a creative, I strive to capture the JOY that can be found in the simplest of things.

I believe in the little moments that are often forgotten or overlooked. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the couch with a glass of wine and a charcuterie board nearby. I believe in intimate quiet moments with your love so that your heart can burst with joy. Most of all I believe in the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.

Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
