There was a moment during Courtney and Jay’s spring wedding this past weekend at Sweet Magnolia estate that stopped me in my tracks. We had gotten to a point in our timeline where we were way above schedule and I had to literally tell myself to slow down (several times). That never happens for me and I was so taken back by it that I had to talk myself down.
Their day was so full of joy and excitement that we were all moving fast and everyone was full of joy and love that the day finally arrived. I told myself to slow down and just embrace the moments. I looked at Courtney and told her to take in every sensory she could. To remember the weather, what smells she could pick up, the sounds of the day and what was said to her. Take in every moment in slow motion because it was literally flying by.
As soon as you meet Courtney and Jay you know they have a love like no other. Their love radiates through a room full of people and with all eyes on them the only thing they see is each other. They are very dependable, kind, and down to earth and their wedding day reflected as such. The deep love they have for their family, friends and each other is unbreakable. As Jay’s brother, Dane said in his toast “Marriage isn’t about how many times you tell each other you love them it’s about proving your love to the other”. Anytime you spend with them you will quickly see they do exactly that and their love was a match made in Heaven.
I wish you both nothing but the best and I pray you keep God in your relationship. I am so thankful I got to spend this season with you and get to know you both better! I hope you enjoy your honeymoon and come back home and continue to prove your love for each other every single day (even the days you might get frustrated with each other).
