Bridal portraits are a more southern tradition, and it’s a way to my heart for sure, but you can never go wrong with having them done even if you aren’t a southern bride. It’s always fun playing dress up in your wedding dress and practicing your hair and makeup too! I mean who doesn’t want to wear their wedding dress more than once?
It took awhile to get Shanie convinced how special bridal portraits were going to be for her, but I’m so so glad she finally decided to do them! For Shanie’s bridals we traveled down to Clover, SC to the Red Boot Ranch. Our originally planned day got rained out so we had to reschedule, it’s always unfortunate when that happens because you not only have to fit the bride’s schedule but also her hair & makeup team and if she has real flowers then you’ll need to make sure they won’t die between the first day and the rescheduled date.
Luckily we were all available just a few days later and I’m so glad it all worked out because the sunset light was to die for! You’ll just have to see for yourself.
